Reconsolidating

So you've written your story, reread it, and edited it, but what is left? You might feel that after all the changes you've made, most likely the ones suggested by an editor or friend, have changed your story from what it started out to be.

Is this necessarily a bad thing? No.

Should you feel proud and confident in the work you eventually submit? Yes.

This may mean you need to sit down and take stock. No matter how "good" your story has become, if you're not happy with it, change it.

In my next post, I'll talk you through some ways to do this.

Happy writing!
